Douglass Davies is a novelist, screenwriter, producer and public relations executive from the United States. A native of coastal northern California, his work often reveals a love of the sea (The Seafarer, The Waters of Aramon). Davies' writing career began as a screenwriter developing screenplays for faith based producers. He was awarded Best Screenplay for his first work, Coach, by the Christian Distributor's Association. He went on to write Without Mercy, Twice Given, Evergreen, Legend of the Lightstone, The Crossing, John Michael and others.
His most recent work, Steinburg, a suspense-thriller, follows the exploits of Hollywood mogul Sid Steinburg, who risks life and fortune to assist Israel in a time of need. The 14 hour audiobook was superbly narrated by Dennis Kleinman and mastered by Lava Studios in Austin, Texas. The audiobook was further developed into 16 one hour episodes for syndicated radio. The new format, featuring themed interviews, music and commentary, premiered on AudioBookRadio in London, UK running for 32 weeks. Ghizela Rowe, former BBC television journalist and celebrated narration talent hosted the program.
The company has entered discussions with Salem Radio Network to distribute DMG's latest venture, Americian Classics Radio, a weekly one hour dramatic series comprised of adventure stories developed or acquired by DMG. The program will be available for airing to 2,700 of Salem Radio Network stations and affiliates via high speed FTP and the network’s XDS satellite. Steinburg will headline the new programming schedule.
The novel is currently being developed as a limited series for television.
